Danny Javier had a major role in Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo’s wedding
Soap opera queen Judy Ann Santos and Eat Bulaga host Ryan Agoncillo reminisced the fondest memories that they had with the late singer Danny Javier.
Danny died on October 31 and this brought sadness to the entertainment industry. He was one of the members of the hit trio APO Hiking Society whose songs lingered in the hearts of many OPM fans. The trio is considered one of the pillars of the music industry in the Philippines.
Aside from their music, as people, Danny, together with Jim Paredes and Boboy Garovillo, has touched the lives of others through their lives as well, and Judy Ann Santos was one of them. The actress was the “bunso” of the trio during the time when they were doing the noontime show ‘Sang Linggo nAPO Sila, based on the article in PEP.
In a recent Instagram post that Juday shared, she paid tribute to her Tito Danny. She shared that the actress was a bit hesitant when she approached the late singer if APO could sing in her wedding with Ryan Agoncillo.
“Suntok sa bwan ang ginawa namin.. at buong puso nyo kaming pinagbigyan.. tinupad nyo at hinigitan pa ang mga pangarap na yun,” the soap opera queen said.
After the wedding, their friendship continued and Juday said that she and Danny would even have their “kamustahan” from time to time. The actress also expressed gratitude to the late singer.
“Salamat sa pagkakataong ibinigay mo para makilala kita ng husto.. nakakalungkot … mabigat.. pero ngayon.. tapos na ang paghihirap at sakit na dinaanan mo.. oras ng magpahinga at maging maligaya sa langit.. mahal ka namin….” the actress said.
Based on the article, the husband of Judy Ann Santos also reminisced about their wedding day in which the late singer performed for them. “His voice is one third of the very first song we danced to as husband and wife. His memory will be forever cherished,” Ryan Agoncillo shared.
