Rabiya Mateo Helps Drag Queens from Baguio Who Got Scammed
Beauty Queen Rabiya Mateo earned praise online after helping Drag Queens from Baguio City who were allegedly scammed.
The kindness of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo shocked online users. The deplorable plight of Baguio queens was disclosed by a concerned netizen named Peabo Bryson Orilla, coordinator and resident host at drag bar Nectar.
According to the popular Facebook post, an Airbnb host conned the queens that have traveled from Baguio. They lacked a place to stay and prepare for the Drag Cartel show.
Peabo asked for help from those in the Bonifacio Global City area. The host of “TiktoClock” and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 posed the question, “ilan po sila?” in the comments section.
Rabiya then offered her a place to stay when a drag queen clarified that there are five people in the group. “They can stay at my place sa BGC. Not that big pero they are welcome po.”
Queen Christian Lubrica or Empy Radora and Peabo provided an update, stating that they had arrived at Rabiya’s house and were getting ready for the show. Rabiya received numerous thanks from drag queens and fans in the comments area.
On social media, the beauty queen expressed her gratitude. Fans reflected on Rabiya’s modest origins and believed that this is one of the reasons why she wanted to assist others. Netizens stated, “Beautiful inside and out!”
