The UMIDIGI G1 Max was announced on October 19, 2022, and released on November 1, 2022. The smartphone is offered in two colors – Starry Black and Galaxy Blue. It is powered by a 5150 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 10W.

Body & Display:

The smartphone comes in a 6.52 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. It is built with a glass front, and a plastic body.

Platform:

G1 Max is powered by Unisoc Tiger T610 Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G52 MP2. It runs on the Android 12 operating system. It is packed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 512GB.

Main Camera:

UMIDIGI G1 Max sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 50-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensor. It features autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, HDR, touch focus, face detection, and LED flash.

Selfie Camera:

For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features an 8-megapixel camera. It features FaceID.

Connectivity options on the phone include USB Type-C 2.0, USB OTG, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, hotspot, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and GALILEO. Its sensors include fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, and compass.
