Man Arrested for Murder After Found Wanted for Getting Police Clearance

Police authorities arrested a man who was allegedly wanted for murder after claiming a police clearance in Quezon City.

The individual allegedly submitted an application for police clearance at the headquarters of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD). However, the PNP E-Warrant System listed his name.

Murder Wanted Police Clearance

Lt. Col. Jun Alvarez, chief of the police clearance office, identified the suspect as Jorge Estayan, 57, a resident of Sanchez St., Bungad SFDM, Quezon City. Estayan is wanted for murder, and no bail is suggested. Different QCPD units also captured eight additional wanted individuals at the same time.

They were identified as Dela Cruz Dizon, 35, wanted for theft; Sharon Perucho, 44, for falsification of public documents; John Orosco Vargas, 47, for violation of R.A. 9262 or the Violence Against Women and Their Children Act; Russel Deniña Villareal, 23, for sexual abuse under Sec. 5 (b) of R.A. 7610; Faderico Dominguez, 26, for robbery; Darwin Amoquez delos Santos, 44, for reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property; Ronaldo Onad Garcia, 53, for attempted homicide; and Ronie Enriquez, 54, for three counts of r6pe.

Based on the report, the arrest of the accused will be reported to the courts of origin. Brig. Gen. Nicolas D. Torre III, the head of the QCPD, praised the police for apprehending the criminals.

“Makakaasa ang ating mga kababayan na mas lalong paiigtingin ng aming tanggapan ang aming operasyon kontra kriminalidad,” he said.
