What’s the real score between Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde?
Seasoned actress Sylvia Sanchez has spoken about her daughter actress Ria Atayde’s rumored relationship with actor Zanjoe Marudo.
Rumors linking Zanjoe and Ria started to circulate when they were spotted together in New York. They were sitting beside each other in a group picture with their friends. Although there were netizens who speculated that there was something romantic between them, some believed that they are just friends.
When Ria’s father Art Atayde was asked about this matter, he refused to say anything as he said that he does not intervene with the love life of his children. In a recent Korina Interviews episode, seasoned journalist Korina Sanchez asked Sylvia Sanchez about the real score between Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo.
The seasoned actress said, “Ang huli naming pagkikita ni Ria, nag-usap kami. Kasi hiwalay na kami ng bahay, e. Solo na siya. Sinabi niya, hindi pa raw.” Sylvia added that Ria and Zanjoe are now in courting stage and she can’t directly confirm that they are together because the two younger celebrities haven’t confirmed the real status of their relationship.
When it comes to Arjo Atayde’s upcoming wedding with Maine Mendoza, the seasoned actress said that she is ready to welcome her daughter-in-law. On the other hand, Sylvia said that there is no final detail yet when it comes to the wedding date.
The seasoned actress said that she is letting the engaged couple to decide on this matter. “Hinahayaan kong si Arjo ang magsabi sa akin, di ba? Yung, ‘Kailan ba, anak?’ ‘Malapit na, Mom. Malapit na.’ Kasi siyempre, gusto ko na magkaapo,” Sylvia shared.
Regarding this aspect, Arjo’s mom said that she does not want to intervene. However, she said that she wants to have two grandchildren from the soon-to-be-married couple.
