Police Arrest Dominic Roco with 4 Others On Buy-bust Ops in Quezon City
Police arrested actor Dominic Roco along with four (4) accomplices during an illegal drugs buy-bust ops in Quezon City.
The renowned actor Bembol Roco’s son was detained after a drug buy-bust operation early on Saturday morning in Quezon City. Along with the actor, Reynaldo Sanchez, 45, Eugene Marvin Tolentino, 27, Renz Anthony Cruz, 33, and Dexie Diamante, 21, were also detained.
According to a report from GMA News, the operation was carried out by officers from Holy Spirit Police Station (PS14) of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), who arrested the suspects at a townhouse soon after midnight. 15 grams of claimed shabu and 10 grams of purported marijuana were among the materials the cops seized.
The dried marijuana was estimated to be worth P14,000, while the shabu was worth P112,000, according to agents from the QCPD-Holy Spirit Police Station (PS 14). Along with the prohibited substances, a scale and marked peso notes were also seized.
The person they were looking for, according to the police, was Sanchez, who was one of the individuals apprehended during the operation in Barangay Holy Spirit. For breaking Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, they will face charges.
Dominic is the identical twin of fellow actor Felix Roco and the son of seasoned actor Bembol Roco. The GMA Network teleserye “Ang Dalawang Ikaw,” one of his final works, was produced. The actor’s camp hasn’t said anything about this so far.
