Mayonnaise Will Donate Prize Won to Angat Buhay Foundation
Filipino band Mayonnaise will donate the prize won from the Kapuso game show ‘Family Feud’ to AngaT Buhay Foundation.
The Filipino band stated that they would donate their prize to Leni Robredo’s foundation on an episode of the game show presented by Dingdong Dantes. Angat Pinas Incorporated or the Angat Buhay, a non-governmental organization, was the name of the aforementioned foundation.
On the game show episode aired on Tuesday, September 27, Mayonnaise defeated Rivermaya. Mayonnaise earned P100,000 in revenue and gave P20,000 to Angat Pinas, Inc.
The NGO has received funding for this project five times. Similar to several previous episode winners, they would donate P20,000 of their P100,000 prize money to the charity of their choice.
It was promised to the foundation by “The Clash Boys.” The winning competitors from an earlier show likewise decided to give a portion of their prize money to the NGO.
The Angat Buhay Foundation also received a P20,000 donation from Manny Calayan’s family last month. TikTok celebrities and NCAA Courtside Cuties donated their profits in addition to the three others.
Robredo’s anti-poverty initiative was known under the moniker Angat Buhay while she served as vice president. After she was unsuccessful in her bid for the presidency in 2022, she continued her project as a volunteer-run group to continue helping Filipinos.
