Lolit Solis Says Vhong Navarro Deserves a Second Change Following Arrest
Showbiz columnist Lolit Solis claimed that TV host Vhong Navarro deserves a second chance after being arrested over a harassment case.
Manay Lolit Solis expressed her grief and sympathy for the current situation involving actor Vhong Navarro in an Instagram post. She said it was a significant lesson for our stars. Decisions must be carefully considered.
Vhong, according to Solis, was not dating anyone at the time of Denice’s reported incident. She said, “Maybe it can be claimed that their affections for each other were mutual because they are both young and available.
The case began when Navarro reportedly tried to rape Deniece Cornejo on January 22, 2014, inside a leased condo in Bonifacio Global City. The Court of Appeals (CA) overturned the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) decision to not charge Navarro in this case and reinstated it in 2022 after the court had dismissed it.
” For whatever reason sana hindi humantong sa ganitong pangyayari ang lahat. Sana naging maayos at maganda ang naging pag uusap. Ang laking bagay ang mawawala kay Vhong Navarro. Nasa itaas ang kanyang career sa kasalukuyan, masaya ang kanyang private life, pero heto nga, nangyari ang hindi inaasahan,” said Lolit.
“Sayang dahil kahit ano pa sabihin mas malaki ang mawawala kay Vhong. Kung anuman ang relasyon o nagawa niya nuon , ibang Vhong Navarro na ngayon . Masaya na ang buhay niya sa sariling pamilya. At kung kelan tahimik saka dumating ang ingay na ito. Kahit ano pa ang mangyari, sana naman maayos ito,” she added.
Unfortunately, Navarro’s dependent family also suffers. Manay merely wants the actor to fight it well, though. As they say, everyone deserves a second chance in life, and Vhong Navarro is one of those who should be given one. Solis hopes that many others have also considered what will happen to Vhong’s panel now and that all goes smoothly.
” Kawawa naman ang pamilya ni Vhong na umaasa sa kanya, siya ang sandalan ng kanyang panilya. Sana naisip din ng marami kung ano na ngayon ang mangyayari sa panilya ni Vhong. At sana din maayos ang lahat, sabi nga, lahat deserves a second chance in life, at isa si Vhong Navarro sa dapat bigyan nito. Wishing you the best sa laban mo sa buhay Vhong. Sana maayos mo itom,” she said.
It should be noted that the TV host, comedian, and dancer voluntarily turned himself into the National Bureau of Investigation on September 19 in connection with the “act of lasciviousness” charge that Deniece had also brought against him. The release of the arrest warrant is not anticipated for the charge of rape, which is not subject to bail.
