The ZTE Nubia Z40S Pro was officially announced on July 20, 2022, and released on July 26, 2022. The 5G-ready smartphone is available in three colors: Interstellar Black, Star Black, and Silver. It is powered by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + Fast charging 80W (regular version) + Fast charging 120W + fast magnetic wireless charging 15W (120W version)
Body & Display:
Nubia Z40S Pro is built with a glass front, aluminum frame, and a glass back. It measures 161.3 x 74 x 8.1 mm and weighs 205 grams. The smartphone comes in a 6.67 inches screen size and the display is AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.
Platform:
The device is powered by the Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 (4 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 730. It comes in variants such as 128GB + 8GB RAM, 256GB + 8GB RAM, 256GB + 12GB RAM, and 512GB + 12GB RAM.
Main Camera:
The rear side of the ZTE Nubia Z40S Pro sports a triple camera that consists of 64-megapixel (standard) + 8-megapixel ((periscope telephoto) + 50-megapixel (ultrawide). It features Dual-LED flash, panorama, and HDR.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 16-megapixel (wide) camera. It also features HDR.
The phone’s sensors include fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. It also features Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, hotspot, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1, and USB OTG.
