Barbie Imperial made revelations about what happened after her calendar girl stint
Actress Barbie Imperial revealed that she received offers from “sugar daddies” after she became a calendar girl.
Barbie is one of the celebrities who have the chance to be featured as a calendar girl of the Pinoy liquor brand Tanduay. In 2020, the actress did a revealing photo shoot for the said stint.
During her tell-all vlog, based on the article in Balita, Barbie denied that she became a mistress of a politician. She said that as a celebrity, it is inevitable to be entangled with this intrigue. In the same video, the actress also shared that there were “sugar daddies” who wanted to get close to her.
“Actually nong nag-Tanduay ako. Simula nung nag-calendar girl ako for Tanduay, andami talagang nagsasabi sa’kin, ‘Oy gusto kang maka-dinner ni ganito ganiyan,” Barbie Imperial said. She added that there were those who offered to pay for her shopping and her trip abroad.
However, the actress said that she turned down these kinds of offers. She stressed that she is not a materialistic person. For Barbie, it is better to work hard for the things she wants to buy for herself.
The actress also said that if she would just get things so easily that this will not keep her motivated. Having a “probinsyana” mother also contributed to this perception of the actress.
Barbie also shared that even during intimate scenes on screen, she still feels uncomfortable. “So, hindi. Hindi ako kabit. Bakit ba lagi niyo akong ginagawang kabit ng mga tao?” the actress reiterated.
Meanwhile, it is known to many that Barbie Imperial’s breakup with Diego Loyzaga was the talk of the town when it happened. In a recent statement, the actress said that she has moved on from that past relationship.
