Pia Wurtzbach received this comment from a netizen
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach replied to a netizen who commented that her acting in the movie My Perfect You was “corny.”
The said big screen project was the first leading lady role in a movie that Pia did. Her leading man in the said 2018 movie was actor Gerald Anderson. In the movie, Pia played the character of Abi who is the owner of Happy Sunshine Camp. Gerald’s character Burn reached that place after he met with a car accident.
From being hostile toward Abi, Burn began to realize that he was being rude and so she apologized to her. Their bond started from there. Burn also developed a good relationship with the people in the camp. However, it was later on revealed that Burn was suffering from schizophrenia and that the Happy Sunshine Camp and all the people were just part of his imaginary world.
Based on IMDb, this movie had a 6.8/10 rating. Although the movie was released four years ago, a netizen had a recent comment on this. Twitter user @digitalfilipina shared a screenshot taken from the movie. It showed the “Baywatch” peg of the character of Pia Wurtzbach.
The netizen said that the third Pinay Miss Universe is indeed beautiful but her acting in the movie is corny and this received a reply from Pia. “Sayang [face with tears of joy emoi] nasa ending pa naman yung twist,” the beauty queen said.
Other netizens who also commented on this agreed with what Pia said. They said that Twitter user @digitalfilipina should have finished watching the movie before she commented on this. A netizen even pointed out that the acting that Pia did will be understood once the twist will be unraveled at the end of the movie.
