Joshua Garcia shared something about his Darna stint
Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia talked about his experience being the leading man of Darna lead actress Jane de Leon.
Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The Series is the first project of Joshua and Jane together. This project has finally aired after a long time of waiting that fans had to bear. The onscreen tandem of Jane and Joshua is receiving positive feedback.
Joshua shared in a recent interview, based on the article in the Philippines Ultimate Showbiz Hub, that he is excited that people will see a different Pinoy soap opera when it comes to the action genre. He is also excited that the audience will get to know their characters.
When it comes to his leading lady, Jane de Leon, Joshua Garcia shared his good words about the actress. He admitted that at first, there was awkwardness between them but eventually they felt more at ease with the scenes they did.
“Okay siya. Siyempre sa una medyo awkward pero habang tumatagal nagiging close kami and lumalabas na rin sa mga screen. Actually yung last scene namin natutuwa ako kasi parang hindi na kami nag-e-eksena, parang nag-uusap na lang kami. Ang laki ng improvement,” the actor shared.
In this series, Joshua also had the chance to reunite with Janella Salvador who plays the character of Valentina. They worked together in the series The Killer Bride and their tandem was well-loved by many viewers.
The actor said that she is excited for Janella’s character to be unfolded in front of the viewers. He also hinted at the love arc that will happen.
Abangan niyo yung Valentina. Actually nanunuod ako nung first Valentina niya na eksena. Ang ganda nung unang pagkaganap niya. Ang ganda rin nung shot ni direk Chito (Rono). Actually excited ako na mapanuod niyo si Valentina. At may love arc na mangyayari. Abangan natin,” he said.
Meanwhile, when asked about working again with his Viral Scandal leading lady Charlie Dizon, Joshua Garcia said that there might be a movie project for them.
