Paolo Ballesteros has this answer when asked about Eat Bulaga’s rival shows
Eat Bulaga host Paolo Ballesteros was asked to react to the “sanib-pwersa” that will happen between Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime and Lunch Out Loud, the noontime show of TV5.
Paolo is one of the hosts of the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Paolo has no idea about the merging that their rival shows will do.
To recall, it was recently reported that ABS-CBN and TV5’s noontime show will join force. The report said that the merging will happen this July.
“Oww talaga? Paanong magsanib-puwersa? Hindi ko alam na may ganun na ganap,” Paolo Ballesteros said as his initial reaction. Because of this, reporters explained to him this matter.
When asked to react to the positive feedback that Eat Bulaga got from netizens, Paolo said, “E, di lalo pang sasaya ang tanghalian nating mga Pinoy?”
Then, Paolo admitted that he is not watching their rival shows and he has no idea about the segments of It’s Showtime and LOL. With this, he can’t make any comment.
“Ang alam ko lang, same na noontime shows sila. But I can only speak for Eat Bulaga! na not only for fun and saya, but also more of public service, awareness, at nagbibigay ng pag-asa sa mga Pinoy na talagang nangangailangan,” Paolo Ballesteros said.
He added that this has been the trademark of Eat Bulaga and this will continue no matter how many rivals shows may appear. Apparently, he is not affected by the upcoming “sanib-pwersa” of their rival shows.
Meanwhile, Paolo Ballesteros’s artistry caught the attention of many people just recently. He created the “Tikbalang” national costume of one of the Binibining Pilipinas candidates.
