Van Owner Admits Mistake After Hitting Illegally Parked Motorcycle
A van owner earns various reactions online for admitting his mistake after he accidentally hits an illegally parked motorcycle.
Nowadays, the massive traffic congestion is one of the major problems in different regions across the Philippines. The excessive number of vehicles and vehicular accidents are some of the major factors of heavy traffic along the streets.
Illegal parking is also considered a violation of traffic rules and regulations, which contributes to the worsening traffic congestion in the country. Traffic offenders would face corresponding sanctions and penalties based on their offenses.
The Facebook page “VISOR” has shared the video footage of a van owner who accidentally hits an illegally parked motorcycle along the road and admits his mistake. The post garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, it can be seen that a tricycle and a motorcycle were illegally parked along the road, which causes inconvenience to other vehicles. Everything seems to be fine until a white van passed along the area.
The white van made a right turn and did not notice the motorcycle, which was parked in front of a sari-sari store. The van driver miscalculated his turn and accidentally hits the motorcycle. However, the van stopped after realizing his mistake.
The vehicle owner identified as Marwin Cortez Marasigan has posted the CCTV footage on social media and made an explanation regarding the incident. Marasigan also admit his mistake but tried to raise public awareness regarding similar incidents.
