Malacañang Announces Alert Level in Metro Manila, Other Areas in PH from June 16-30

Malacañang Speaks on COVID-19 Restrictions in PH

MALACAÑANG – The Palace announced the alert level in Metro Manila and other areas in the Philippines from June 16-30,2022

The COVID-19 fight continues amid the fact that the threat of the virus is still existing in the Philippines and in several countries across the globe. Amid the easing of restrictions in several nations following the drop in the cases, the World Health Organization (WHO) previously warned countries that the pandemic is not over anywhere if it is not over everywhere thus everyone must not be complacent.

The Philippine government and the Department of Health (DOH) also continually remind the Filipinos to keep on practicing the minimum health protocols to fight the spread of COVID-19. Vaccinations and the giving of booster shots also continued and there are still some procedures that must be followed in traveling.

Malacañang announces the alert level in Metro Manila and other areas in the country every two (2) weeks unless there is an urgent need to implement a change in the COVID measure. In the past two (2) weeks, most parts of the country are under the loosest quarantine measure, the Alert Level 1.
