Joseph Marco talked about his leading lady in ‘Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask’
Kapamilya actor Joseph Marco shared what it was like working with former Wowowin host Herlene Budol, also known as Hipon Girl.
Marco was the one who replaced actor Kit Thompson in the movie Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask following the latter’s controversial encounter with newbie actress Ana Jalandoni.
In a recent interview by The Philippine Star, Joseph said that he really enjoyed working with Herlene. “I really enjoy working with Herlene. Sobrang gaang niyang katrabaho. May mga days na excited akong makita siya, excited akong makausap siya, excited akong makatrabaho siya kasi yung personality niya it gives joy to people around her,” Joseph Marco shared.
The actor also said that Herlene is so funny and that he would like to work with her again in the future. When it comes to the ambiance on the set of the movie, Joseph said that their director Victor Villanueva was not imposing pressure on them. “Sobrang chill niyang mag-direct, with shots, scenes, as in ang gaan sa set. Even the crew, parang barkada lahat,” he shared.
This movie project was conceptualized with Puregold and produced by Chris Cahilig. Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask is about Malta, a 25-year-old cashier, played by Herlene. Malta is giving financial support to her mother Madam Baby, played by Mickey Ferriols.
Joseph Marcos gives life to the character of Sieg, a handsome guy who is unlucky in love. When Malta and Sieg met, it was love at first sight for the latter because he was mesmerized by the eyes of the former.
From there, Malta and Sieg will have their journey in overcoming their doubts and the shadows of their past, and of course finding love. This movie will start streaming on the Puregold YouTube channel on June 11, Saturday at 6 PM.
