Ivana Alawi talked about her new teleserye
Actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi made revelations about actor Sam Milby, her co-star in the new Kapamilya series A Family Affair.
Aside from Sam, Ivana’s other leading men in the series are Gerald Anderson, Jameson Blake, and Jake Ejercito. In a recent interview, the actress-vlogger said that she is excited to work with Sam and Gerald because she used to watch their shows before she entered the entertainment industry.
Based on the article in PUSH, Ivana admitted that she had a crush on the boyfriend of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. “Si Sam crush na crush ko siya dati. Napanuod ko siya sa mga movies at teleserye niya sa ABS-CBN. Kaya nga natatakot ako. Sieympre pag naging crush mo isang tao tapos makakatrabaho mo, tapos feeling ko nga very intimidating siya,” she said.
However, Ivana Alawi said that her initial perception was the opposite of what she experienced. “Pero hindi pala. Kabaliktaran pala. He’s a very, very nice person. Sobra,” the actress-vlogger said.
She added that she felt a certain “takot” knowing that Sam has been in the industry for many years now. However, that initial feeling of Ivana towards her leading man changed during their first meeting.
She said that Sam was funny and this made her comfortable. Ivana also highlighted the bond that everyone on the set has with each other. She said that it didn’t feel like work.
“Pag nag-te-taping kami parang hindi taping kasi para kaming family talaga,” the actress-vlogger said.
Ivana Alawi also said that Sam Milby is very welcoming. She said that her leading man really wanted her to be comfortable with him. “And he’s going to do everything na mapasaya ka lang at mapatawa, ganun,” she added.
She also said that Sam would help her when it comes to doing their scenes. There were also times that they would talk about their personal lives, such as things about their family.
