Comelec Releases Official List of Party-List Winners in Elections 2022

Comelec Sets Proclamation of Winning Party-Lists Thursday

COMELEC – The Commission on Elections released the official list of party-list winners in the Elections 2022.

Millions of Filipinos headed to the voting precincts last May 9 to cast their vote for the local and national elections. Under the national poll, an election for the next president, vice president, and senators was held. There is also an election for party lists.

Under the local polls, an election for congress representatives, governor, mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors was held. It was an automated election thus results were retrieved fast most especially for the local election.

Recently, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) gave an update on the results of the election for party lists. It released the official list of the winners.

Comelec Commissioner George Garcia

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Comelec announced that the proclamation of the winning party lists is set on Thursday, 4:00 p.m., at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). According to Commissioner George Garcia, the poll body is prevented from proclaiming groups that are facing pleas for cancellation of their registration.

Two (2) groups, Kabataan and Gabriela, secured seats in the House of Representatives but they are facing petitions for the cancellation of their registration. They are accused of linkage with the communist movement.
