Cellphone Snatcher Failed Steal Victim’s Mobile Phone After Lady Netizen Fought Back

A lady netizen fights the cellphone snatcher who tried to steal her mobile phone and reiterated “Pasalamat si kuya pagod ako”.

A Facebook user named Makurah Katakura has shared the video footage of the scene after she fought a snatcher who tried to steal her mobile phone. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.

Katakura narrated that she and her fellow workers were prohibited to use their mobile phones during work. She had a lot of pending messages from friends, work and clients after her work.

Makurah decided to sit in the front seat of the jeepney and opened the pending messages. Unfortunately, a motorist wearing a blue raincoat tried to snatch her phone while she sits inside the jeepney.

Luckily, the lady passenger was able to hold her phone tightly. The snatcher failed to snatch her mobile phone and immediately escaped. The driver also failed to chase the suspect and the other commuters got shocked due to the incident.

“Dahil sa bawal gumamit ng phone sa work, ang daming pending na messages sakin from friends and kadalasan work and business related pa ang di ko maasikaso hangga’t di pa ko out. Nakaupo ako sa front seat ng jeep habang busy sa phone ng bigla na lang may guy sa motor na nakakapote na blue ang nagtry hablutin yung cellphone ko, buti na lang malakas grip ko kesa sa kanya, tatry ko sana sipain yung motor pero ang bilis niya. Di na rin siya nahabol ng driver kasi nagaalala yung driver. Nashock lahat ng pasahero sa jeep kasi nakita nila kung paano ako makipagagawan ng phone. Pasalamat si kuya pagod ako. ”
