Daphne Oseña is a certified Swiftie
Television personality Daphne Oseña shared her Taylor Swift moment when she met the international pop superstar back in 2014.
Daphe showcased her proud Swiftie experience meeting the artist that she adores. In her recent Facebook post, the TV personality shared that she met Taylor personally when the singer-songwriter held her “Red” concert in Manila almost 8 years ago.
“I will keep telling this story til I’m 85, haha. It was a big moment for me as an original Swiftie and as a mom of three Swifties, I wrote about it in my book,” Daphne Oseña started her story about Taylor Swift.
Fortunately, Daphne was invited by MCA Records to join an exclusive pre-concert party backstage. She shared that she couldn’t bring her daughters, who are also Swifties, to that event but she did a big favor for them.
“I presented her with fan art made by my daughters (she’s seen holding the artwork in this picture),” the TV personality said. Then, Daphne shared the conversation that she had with Taylor. “Our convo – she said we had the same hair and lipstick. Then she said she loved my necklace. I told her I designed them and she just kept saying wow (I make and sell these, all gold),” she shared.
Daphne also told Taylor that she and her daughters love her song “Best Days” because it is about a mother-daughter relationship. The TV personality also met the mother of the pop superstar and they had a “long chat.”
“To this day we remain the most loyal Swifties. I buy her exclusive merch as gifts for my girls. Completely supporting all her Taylor’s Version releases,” Daphne Oseña said. She also congratulated Taylor Swift on her honorary doctorate and commended her NYU commencement speech.
