Gloc-9 acknowledged defeat
Rapper Gloc-9 encouraged his fellow Kakampinks to support the administration of presumptive President Bongbong Marcos as the majority voted for him.
Gloc is among the many celebrities who showed support for the presidential candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo. However, after the election and following the strong lead of BBM in the partial and unofficial count of Comelec, he has acknowledged the fact that his personal candidate did not win.
In an interview during the launch of his new song “Kumpisal” featuring rapper Skusta Clee, Gloc-9 said that he accepted the choice of the Filipino people because he is also a Filipino and he is living in the Philippines. “Sabi nga nila, narinig na ang boses ng mga tao so sino ako para kumontra don,” the rapper said.
Gloc also pointed out that he is willing to help and support for the welfare of the people. “Sabi nga nila, narinig na ang boses ng mga tao so sino ako para kumontra don,” he stressed.
The rapper stressed that there are a lot of things to be done, especially for the marginalized sectors in the country. He also said that it would be nice if Filipino artists will receive help from the new administration to promote OPM in other countries.
“I think na dapat mag-move on ka na, kung ito talaga ang desisyon ng lahat, dapat nating i-honor. Kaya nga eleksyon e. Pag may nanalo na, sama-sama tayong sumuporta,” Gloc-9 said.
The rapper has released the music video for his single “Kumpisal”. This is part of his Pilak album in celebration of his 25th anniversary in the music industry. Previously, the award-winning rapper has released the singles “Paliwanag” with Yeng Constantino and “Pilak.”
