Viral Leni Supporter Nanay Gloria Beltran Passes Away After Election
Nanay Gloria Beltran, a solid Leni supporter who gets emotional in a viral video has passed away two days after the 2022 National Elections.
Last Wednesday (May 11, 2022), Nanay Gloria Beltran of Gerona town in Tarlac passed away at the age of 74. The elderly grandma reportedly died after suffering from coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The Kakampink supporter’s daughter-in-law identified as Catherine Beltran confirmed the sad news. Nanay Gloria has been always present in campaign rallies of Vice President Leni Robredo in their town.
However, Nanay Gloria failed to cast her vote during the 2022 national and local elections after she suffered from breathing difficulty. She was also rushed to the hospital after suffering from the disease’s signs and symptoms.
Beltran’s relatives who take care of her were currently under home quarantine. The group “Tarlac Youth for Leni” announced the Kakampink grandma. The group sought help from the online community to send donations for Nanay Gloria’s family.
The elderly lady goes viral online during the campaign rally of VP Robredo last March 2022 after she has been spotted crying as she saw the presidential candidate in person. The grandma patiently waited for VP Leni last March 23 in Gerona Public Market.
“Nagtiis ako para makita ko talaga. Noong nakita ko siya, ang saya ko, Malumanay siya magsalita. totoo siyang nagsasalita,” Nanay Gloria said.
