Savemore Earns Reactions After Releasing Official Statement Over Unsold “Turon” Issue
UNSOLD TURON ISSUE – The popular grocery store Savemore has finally released an official statement over the unsold ‘turon’ issue.
Previously, a lady vlogger named Momshie Odille has shared the video footage of a lady netizen sharing an alarming story behind Savemore’s ‘Turon’. The video immediately spread like a wildfire online.
Odille got shocked after the store workers expressed their happiness after she bought five pieces of ‘turon’. The employees told her that the management will charge them for unsold turon.
The lady influencer also encouraged the public to buy ‘turon’ when they visit Savemore.
SM Markets has released an official statement regarding the unsold ‘turon’ issue on their Facebook page. The post immediately circulates on social media and garnered various reactions from the online community.
The management clarified the wrong impression about their branch in Zabarte. The statement said that staff is not required to pay the unsold turon. The store has already contacted the branch personnel to correct the information.
Here is the full statement:
“We would like to clarify the wrong impression with regard to our Zabarte branch. Our store staff do sell a lot of Turon and these are usually sold out by the end of the day. The store staff is not and need not be charged for any unsold turon. We have communicated to our branch personnel to correct this wrong information”
Momshie has also reacted to the official statement of the store:
“Hindi ko planong bigyan kayo ng problema Savemore Market, ang problema ay galing sa napakadaming empleyado ninyo na nag comment sa video ko at nag-comment na inaawas nga raw ang mga hindi nabentang produkto ninyo sa kanilang sahod Ginawa ko ang video para makatulong sa mga kahera ninyo na makabenta ng turon niyo upang makauwe sila ng maaga sa pamilya nila OR hindi ma charge sa mga hindi nabentang turon ninyo. Yun lamang po, paborito ko ang turon ninyo, sana makapasok pdin ako ng Savemore hahaha bye!”
