Dawn Chang portrayed Madam Inutz in the MMK episode
Actress Dawn Chang shared the realizations that she had after portraying Madam Inutz in an episode of the Kapamilya drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya.
Madam Inutz or Daisy Lopez Cabantog in real life rose to fame because of her style of doing live selling. She would rant against those netizens who are watching her live videos but are not purchasing any item that she is selling.
Later on, she had the chance to be part of the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother and through this, she has shown to the public her personality that is not known to many people.
Following her PBB stint, the life of Madam Inutz is also featured in an episode of MMK. In her portrayal of the popular social media personality, Dawn Chang admitted that she discovered a lot of things, based on the article in Inquirer.
“I realized that I didn’t know a lot of swear words before doing this project,” the actress said adding that this was not intentional on the part of Madam Inutz however, it is hard for her to do because she was conscious of what she was doing.
“I remember doing one scene that’s 90 percent pagmumura. I don’t know how MMK would present that one. I realized that I only know very few bad words,” Dawn shared.
In order to pull the scenes with “pagmumura,” Dawn shared that she asked for suggestions from cameramen and she was amused when they told her to mention their names and curse at them while facing the camera so that they can their families about this when the episode will be shown.
Dawn Chang also said that it was more challenging to portray someone from showbiz than someone who is not from the entertainment industry. The actress also said that she had to show who Daisy is and how different she is from Madam Inutz.
