Michelle Dee shared this post after MUPH 2022 coronation night
Beauty queen-actress Michelle Dee talked about the most intense moment during the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 pageant.
Michelle already won a national pageant title. She was hailed as Miss World Philippines in 2019. Despite her showbiz engagements, the daughter of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez, is still focused when it comes to her pageant stints.
This year, she once again joined a national pageant. On April 30, the new Miss Universe Philippines was crowned. During the finals, Michelle Dee and Celeste Cortesi were the two candidates vying for the crown.
The Kapuso actress recalled that moment in her recent Instagram post. “I have always believed that everything in life happens for a reason. As @celeste_cortesi and I gave our all to win the crown, in the end we always knew only one of us would win,” Michelle started.
She said that no one can take this destiny from her true friend Celeste because she deserves the crown. Michelle said that she is thankful to share this moment with Celeste.
“This moment was probably one of the most intense in my life (so far) but at the end of it all, I’m filled with nothing but gratitude for the love, lessons and endless support I’ve received. No effort will go unnoticed and I promise to come out stronger,” the beauty queen-actress said.
She also said that she will be posting something soon to express her gratitude to everyone who made this journey a very memorable one. Then, she said that this might not be the last.
Several Kapuso stars and her fellow beauty queens congratulated Michelle Dee for her Miss Universe Philippines 2022 stint. In the comment section, Celeste said that she is also thankful that she was able to share that final pageant moment with Michelle.
