MMANG JESS ARRANZA’S PLATFORMS – Here are the accomplishments of businessman Mang Jess Arranza and his plans if he wins the May 2022 Senatorial Election.

The May 2022 Senatorial Election has 63 candidates vying for a spot in the Senate based on the list released by the Commission on Elections (Comelec). Some of the bets are incumbent government officials while others have previously held public posts. There are also those candidates who are coming from another field – like Mang Jess Arranza.

Personal Background:

Mang Jess Arranza was born in Sorsogon. He is a businessman and a columnist. He writes for Make Sense in Business Mirror. In 1965, he graduated from the University of the East with a degree on Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Three (3) years after, he finished his master’s degree in Public Administration at the University of the East. He had his Doctor of Humanities at the same university and he graduated in 2016. He is married to Evelyn Arranza.

Accomplishments:

Mang Jess Arranza is a businessman and a sector leader. He is the chairman of the Federation of Philippine Industries (FPI) which covers local manufacturing and industrial companies that united for the development of globally-competitive industries from 1990 up to the present. He is also the chairman of the anti-smuggling committee of FPI. In 2009, he was appointed by former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as the president of the Coconut Industry Investment Fund.
