Kylie Verzosa answered this question about love and relationship
Beauty queen-turned-actress Kylie Verzosa was asked if to whom she last said the words “Ikaw lang ang mahal.”
The showbiz world was surprised when actor Jake Cuenca confirmed his breakup with Kylie. Prior to this, netizens speculated that their relationship has ended because it has been a long time since they posted photos together.
Amid the breakup rumors, Jake shared meaningful posted that fueled the speculations and eventually, he confirmed that he and Kylie are no longer together.
In a recent press conference for her new movie Ikaw Lang Ang Mahal with Cara Gonzales, and Zanjoe Marudo, Kylie Verzosa was asked if to whom she last said those words, based on the article in Abante.
Both Zanjoe and Cara that the last persons to whom they said “ikaw lang ang mahal” are their mothers. As for Kylie, it was expected by the press people that she will mention the name of Jake Cuenca but she said, “Romantically siguro noong padulo ng college ko, sa una kong boyfriend. Siya ang sinabihan ko na ‘ikaw lang ang mahal ko’.”
Then, she said, “Present?” and pause for a few seconds before she said, “Ah, sarili ko. Hahahaha!” She added that she needed to tell herself these words. With this, the press people can conclude that she no longer love her ex-boyfriend.
Kylie was also asked about the It’s Showtime episode that went viral because she cried when the topic about breakup was brought up. She asked the press people not to talk about this.
Then, the movie cast members were asked if what they have learned from their characters. Kylie answered, “Siguro may mga pagmamahal na wala sa tamang panahon. Siguro, puwede mong mahalin ang isang tao, pero mali ang… the right love at the wrong place, at the wrong time.”
Towards the end of the press conference, Kylie Verzosa mentioned that she does not consider what happened between her and Jake Cuenca was a failed relationship. However, she was not able to elaborate on this because reporters were reminded to stick to questions about the movie.
