Elmo Magalona shared an appreciation post for Dick Gordon
Actor-singer Elmo Magalona expressed gratitude to reelectionist Senator Dick Gordon and here is the reason behind this.
Elmo was one of the celebrities who performed during the campaign rally of the team of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan in Olongapo City last Tuesday. The family of the Kapamilya star is also supporting the Leni-Kiko tandem.
On Wednesday, Elmo shared a photo with Sen. Gordon on his Instagram Story. This included a story about how thankful he is to the lawmaker. It is because of the help that his family received from Gordon when his father, the late Master Rapper Francis Magalona, was battling cancer.
“He sent kindness and help towards my family when papa had cancer. He unselfishly lent his hand and time to us, even when he had other activities and businesses to take care of,” Elmo Magalona shared.
Because of this and the projects that Gordon has done for the country, including the Red Cross, the actor-singer said that he is thankful to the Senator.
“Thank you for your brilliance, kindness, service, and for continuing to be a blessing to our nation, including my family. Thank you Sen. Dick Gordon,” he added. Elmo also used the hashtag for the Senator’s campaign: “31 Wow Dick Gordon 2022.”
Based on the report from Inquirer, the lawmaker showed appreciation for the performance of the son of Francis Magalona during a recent rally in Olongapo. During that time, Elmo Magalona performed the popular song of his father “Kaleidoscope World” which was previously sung in rallies of the UniTeam, and the tandem of Isko Moreno and Willie Ong.
“It was nice seeing you, @SuperElmo. I was moved when you sang your father’s song Kaleidoscope World and everyone was singing with you,” the Senator tweeted.
