Jojo Bragais On Catriona Gray’s Madame Tussauds Wax Figure
JOJO BRAGAIS – International shoe designer Jojo Bragais shared a cryptic post about giving respect, which his fans believe referred to Fil-Aussie beauty queen Catriona Gray.
Catriona Elisa Magnayon Gray rose to fame after winning the Miss Universe 2018 crown. Filipino shoe designer Jojo Bragais created her shoes when she won the 67th Miss Universe held in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 17, 2018.
Cat is the third Filipino to get a wax figure at Madame Tussauds. The first Pinoy wax figure was Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and was followed by boxing champ and Senator Manny Pacquiao.
The unveiling of Catriona Gray’s wax figure took place in Singapore on March 30, 2022. She personally attended the event.
Madame Tussauds’ brilliant wax sculpture artists copied the beauty queen’s appearance, from head to toe when she was crowned Miss Universe in 2018. Catriona’s wax figure was wearing Jojo Bragais’ shoes, but none of Madame Tussauds’ staff asked permission from the designer to use the shoes.

Pinoy beauty pageant fans know that Jojo Bragais created Catriona’s Miss Universe shoes so they are surprised that the well-known shoe designer was not given due credit. On Thursday afternoon, shared a cryptic post on Facebook about giving respect.
His post seemed to be about the unveiling of Catriona’s wax figure that she helped and supported when she joined and won the 55th Binibining Pilipinas on March 18, 2018.
He wrote: “You don’t have to like me, But At least give the respect… #waxIn #waxOut.”
The online community believed that Jojo Bragais’ post came after he was left out after Catriona Gray thanked several people when she unveiled her Madame Tussauds wax figure in Singapore recently.
