Piolo Pascual reminisced the time when he started his showbiz career
Kapamilya A-list actor Piolo Pascual recalled the major decision that he did back in 1998 and eventually, he realized that it was the “right choice”.
Piolo has proven to the world of entertainment that he deserves a spot. He was given opportunities that boosted his career as an actor. Now, he is going to the next level of being a showbiz personality as he started his own production company.
More than two decades ago, Piolo made a big leap. Back in 1998, based on the article in Inquirer, he decided to leave the US to pursue a career in showbiz in the Philippines.
At that time, there was no certainty if his decision will have a good result or not. “I was only 21 then. I didn’t know what to expect. I said this might be my one and only shot at it, so I flew to Manila to take my chances. Looking back, I can safely say the risk I took was all worth it,” Piolo Pascual shared.
However, when the pandemic started to affect the showbiz industry, Piolo got worried, just like many celebrities. Fortunately, the actor has learned to embrace the situation and he did this through activities that are good for his physical and mental health.
The actor shared that depriving himself of the things that he enjoys is not beneficial. “I believe in balance. I had just come from a two-week taping bubble for a show. As soon as I came out, I rewarded myself with a bag of chicharon. Once in a while, you have to indulge,” Piolo Pascual said.
On the other hand, he asserted the importance of having his workout routine and so he is rewarding himself with things he enjoys.
