Yilmaz Bektas invited Ruffa Gutierrez to visit Istanbul
Actress Ruffa Gutierrez turned down the invitation from her ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas to spend a vacation in Istanbul.
Ruffa and Yilmaz broke up years ago and their marriage was already annulled. When they were still together, Ruffa and their two daughters stayed in Istanbul, Turkey however, when they separated, the actress went back to the Philippines with their kids.
Based on the article by entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in Abante, Ruffa Gutierrez shared that she misses Istanbul. In her recent Kumu Live, Ruffa invited Jun to join her. It is known to many that the columnist is close to the Gutierrez family.
At one point, Jun showed a photo of the Taksim Square. “Sabi nga ni Ruffa, na-miss daw niya ang Istanbul. Ilang taon din kasi siyang nanirahan doon hanggang maghiwalay sila ni Yilmaz Bektas noong 2007,” the columnist shared.
The actress excitedly called her daughter Venice to show that her Tito Jun is in Istanbul. In their conversation, Ruffa shared that her ex-husband invited them to visit Istanbul. However, the actress refused this offer.
It is because she thought that Yilmaz might not allow them to go back to the Philippines. “Miss ko ang Istanbul because it’s such a beautiful country and I made so many amazing memories during the time I lived there,” Ruffa shared.
She also said that her ex-husband was supposed to visit them last summer but did not happen. “He invited me and the kids to visit him and his family. Talks weren’t successful,” Ruffa Gutierrez said.
Meanwhile, Ruffa is now being linked to actor-politician Herbert Bautista, however, until now, they haven’t spoken yet about the real score between them.
