Wanted Man Bravely Applies for Police Clearance Resulted to His Arrest
Police authorities arrested a man who was discovered to be wanted after he bravely applies for National Police Clearance.
Santa Cruz Police arrested a man for allegedly obtaining National Police Clearance. He was arrested by the province’s Santa Cruz Municipal Police Station after it was discovered that he already had a warrant out for his arrest in another province.

Job Riel y Sarandon Jr., a 54-year-old married tricycle driver who lives in Brgy. Santa Cruz, Ilocos Sur, Casilagan Riel went to the mentioned police station yesterday to seek for National Police Clearance, according to reports.
However, officials learned that he has a standing warrant of arrest issued by RTC Branch 38, Daet, Camarines Norte on November 23, 2016 for his forthcoming Frustrated Murder case when processing his application. The proposed bail amount for the accused in the stated warrant of arrest is P200,000. The accused is presently in the custody of Sta. Cruz, Station of the Municipal Police.
On Tuesday, Feb. 22, a 40-year-old man wanted by the police in Tondo, Manila was apprehended during a police operation. The suspect, Ronald Yu, was apprehended at 1014 Panday Pira Street in Tondo, according to Police Lt. Col. Antonietto Eric Mendoza of the Highway Patrol Group (HPG).
Mendoza stated that Yu was seized as a result of a murder warrant issued by Judge Marianthe Pacita Zuraek of Manila’s Regional Trial Court Branch 51. The suspect was featured on the Top 5 list of the most wanted individuals in Tondo area, according to Police Lt. Col. Cenon Vargas Jr., head of the Manila Police District (MPD) Raxabago Police Station.
