The seasoned actor went on to say that his opinion on the relationship has evolved with time and as he has become older. He stated that one of the reasons he does not want to marry is that he has been in a long relationship that ended in divorce.

Mon said that he had been in a 17-year relationship before nothing transpired. He stated that it is possible that nothing will happen and that the divorce will be finalized when he has a new relationship at this stage in his life.

He also quit flirting since he is too preoccupied with work, and one of his current goals is to appear in foreign films. Jose and Paolo also questioned Mon if he considers or misses the possibility of someone greeting him when he returns home from work.

Mon replied, “Nag iba na yung mindset ko, tinanggap ko nang matandang binata na ko.” Mon stressed, though, that while his heart is still open to a new relationship, he is fine if nothing materializes.

Meanwhile, he stated that he will accept a life partner if the Lord provides him with one. “Si Lord lang ang makakaalam kung kailan darating ang tamang makakasama sa buhay. If ever, why not?”
