Chinita Princess Kim Chiu reacted to the bashing that she received because of her controversial statement about cats.

Kim is not a newbie when it comes to criticisms online. Her name became a trending topic on social media because of some instances when her statement did not sit well with many netizens.

Just recently, netizens criticized what she said about cats. In a segment of Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime, Kim asked about the noisiest thing at night. The first choice was “pusang may kaharutan sa bubong.”

The actress made a side comment on this. She said that it is indeed “nakakainis”. Kim Chiu continued her commentary with this: “Yung gusto mong sabuyan ng mainit na tubig kasi ang ingay.”

A Facebook user shared this clip and the caption was criticizing Kim’s statement regarding the thing that she want to do with the noisy cats. Then, a Twitter user shared this post and called out to the actress saying that she should apologize for this.

Kim explained that the clip did not show her apology as she said sorry right after that. “I really want to remain quiet on this, because this was a month or 2 months ago. I cleared this already, RIGHT AFTER saying those words, and asked for apology same day same segment, coz I know that I will never do it and cleared that its not really ganun. But the thing is……” the Kapamilya star said.

She also stressed that the one who posted that clip just cut the portion in which she apologized for what she said against cats. Kim also said that she is saddened by the fact that some people find it easy to pin down other people.

Kim Chiu also apologized to all animal lovers who felt offended by what she said and that she hopes that the issue will not be magnified anymore.
