The Doogee Y8 was released in January 2019. The budget smartphone is offered in three colors – Midnight Black, Phantom Purple, and Emerald Green. It is powered by a 3400 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging.

Doogee Y8 comes in a 6.08 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 600 x 1280 pixels resolution. It measures 156.8 x 75.3 x 9.0 mm and weighs 150 grams.
The smartphone is powered by Mediatek MT6739W (28 nm) processor coupled with PowerVR GE8100 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on the Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system.
The device is packed with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It has a standard memory slot (such as an SD or micro-SD card slot) that enables users to extend the built-in internal storage. It can be expanded up to 256GB.
The rear side of the Doogee Y8 sports a dual-camera that consists of an 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel with features like autofocus, touch focus, continuous shooting, geotagging, panorama, HDR, and face detection.
On the front, the budget phone features a 4.9-megapixel camera for clicking beautiful selfies and making video calls.
