Being a Kapuso for almost three decades, pioneer hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon are more than thankful. For them, it has been a wonderful journey with GMA.

Allan K is also one of the hosts of Eat Bulaga who has spent many years in the show already. Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, during a recent media conference for the contract renewal, the comedian shared that the show has influenced him a lot, especially when it comes to giving.

The biggest lesson is yung kapag nagbigay ka sa mga viewers, huwag kang mag-expect ng something in return,” he said. It is because the show has become a venue of charitable endeavors as well.

Over the years, Eat Bulaga helped less fortunate individuals through various programs such as the scholarship program that the show has given to many students.

This is one of the values that Allan K highlighted, the act of giving without waiting for something in return. “Kasi sa totoong buhay, kahit wala ka sa TV kapag nagbigay ka, ibigay mo nang buong puso, huwag kang mag-expect ng kung anek-anek [ano-ano] kasi hindi na ‘yun makatotohanan,” the comedian said.

One of the instances that Allan showed the act of giving was when his fellow comedian Boobay was hospitalized. There was a time when the latter was fighting for his life and Allan was ready to lend a helping hand. This story was shared during an episode of the noontime show’s popular segment Bawal Judgmental.
