Kid Goes Viral After He Saves Money to Try Samgyupsal with Grandpa
A lovely kid went viral and touches a lot of heart for allegedly saving money to try the Korean Samgyupsal with his grandpa.
Jessica Abasalon’s touching Facebook post drew a lot of attention from the internet community. At a Korean restaurant, Jessica told the touching story of the boy and his grandfather.
Jessica said that the youngster wanted to eat with his grandfather at that restaurant, but the elderly advised them to save first. After learning the price of unli samgyupsal, the youngster told the staff and stated that they will be returning shortly.

Jessica stated that the child and his grandfather returned with P199 in coins about 6 p.m. The child then approached the Korean restaurant workers and informed them that he had already saved enough money to eat.
“Ate ito na po nakaipon na po ako subukan po namin ni lolo kumain,” the kid said to the staff.
Jessica, on the other hand, approached the grandfather and informed him that they may eat for free and not pay. She even let them take the leftovers home with them so they could eat when they got home.
Jessica shared what she had learned with the world after the poignant story of the child and his grandfather. She stated that she has recognized how fortunate she is to have what she has today and has learned to be satisfied and enjoy tiny and large things.
“Got some realization mga sis na we are still very lucky kung ano man ang meron tayo ngayon, learn how to be contented and appreciate things maliit man o malaki bongga nayarn,” said Jessica
According to Jessica, the two go to the store every morning and then pass by on their way home. The Facebook post went viral, eliciting a variety of responses from internet users who were moved by their experience.
