Globe Advisory Says Affected Areas In Vis-Min Region Have No Data Service
GLOBE ADVISORY – Globe, among the leading network providers in the Philippines posted an advisory saying several affected areas in Vis-Min have no data.
As typhoon Odette ravaged through the Vis-Min regions, Globe users struggle to contact family and friends due to having no signal. Furthermore, some netizens complained regarding messages being received or sent late.

However, Globe’s advisory said that field operation teams were deployed in Visayas and Mindanao to work on the issue. As of now, Globe is continuing to restore mobile and data services in the following affected areas.

- Cebu
- Surigao Del Norte
- Souther Leyte
- Bohol
- Palawan
- Surigao Del Sur
- Negros Occidental
- Negros Oriental
- Dinagat Island
- Agusan Del Sur
- Agusan Del Norte
- Samar
- Iloilo
- Eastern Samar
- Siquijor
- Guimaras
- Western Samar
- Camiguin
As of 6:00 p.m. yesterday, Globe restored services in Zamboanga del Sur, Sibugay, and Bukidnon. Furthermore, Globe established a free charging station at Shell stations, Borongan City, Eastern Samar, and Sebayan Central Elementary School in Bhutan.

Meanwhile, Globe said that customers who wish to support affected areas can do so by donating Globe Reward points to partner affiliates such as GMA Kapuso Foundation., Rise Against Hunger Philippines, and through the GlobeOne app.
In Cebu, the Ayala group set up support foundations through its #BrigadaAyala initiative. Among the other areas this could be found is at Cagayan de Oro, Palawan, and Surigao del Norte.
