Kapuso actress Kim Domingo revealed that she wants to portray this kind of character and here is the reason why.
Just like many actors and actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry, Kim also has her dream role. In the past years, she has already done different roles on TV and in movies. She has done drama, comedy, and even intimate scenes in the past.
However, Kim has already left that unwholesome image she had in the past. In a past interview, she said that she wants to be known as a serious actress and that she wants to cater also to younger viewers.
Kim also did a remarkable job in portraying a “kontrabida.” Aside from acting, she also had some hosting stints. She started as a ‘money girl’ in Willie Revillame’s game show and this has launched her career in showbiz.
That opportunity opened another opportunity for her in the world of modeling. Eventually, she became part of the longest-running gag show Bubble Gang and until now, she is one of the main cast.
For now, this particular famous character in a Hollywood film captured the attention of the Kapuso actress. Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Kim Domingo revealed that she wants to do a character like Amy Elliott Dunne in the psychological thriller movie Gone Girl that was released in 2014. It was portrayed by Rosamund Pike.
“Ang dream role ko talaga parang sa movie ng ‘Gone Girl,’ ‘yung medyo may pagka-psycho, marami siyang characters, split personality. ‘Yun ang isa sa gusto kong gawing character, dream role ko ‘yun,” the Kapuso star shared.
Meanwhile, Kim Domingo will be featured in Wish Ko Lang’s Lihim ng Punerarya episode that will be aired on December 11.
