It will be recalled that on Nov. 22, Robredo addressed the distribution of false information regarding his stepdaughter Aika’s claimed release on police inquiry bail after being jailed in America. Robredo also repeated his “competitors'” first attempt at discrediting the daughter at Harvard Kennedy School.
According to Robredo’s Facebook post, a group of people filed a letter to Harvard Kennedy School requesting that Aika’s acceptance be revoked because her tuition was paid using tainted government monies. However, Robredo said that the request was turned down by the American-based school. Robredo further stated that because her daughter is a full scholar, her entrance to the elite school cannot be revoked.
Robredo went on to say that Aika was accepted to the school based on her qualifications, not because she was the vice president’s daughter. She then tweeted a bogus news article with the headline Aika Robredo granted Police Enquiry Bail following detention in the United States.
