Binibining Pilipinas Thank Samantha Panlilio For Miss Grand International Run
BINIBINING PILIPINAS – The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. shared its message after beauty queen Samantha Panlilio’s Miss Grand International loss.
Model and beauty queen Samantha Panlilio clinched the Binibining Pilipinas Grand International crown last July. She’s the niece of Myrna Panlilio, the first Bb. Pilipinas ever.
She’s the Philippines’ candidate for the Miss Grand International 2021. Sam ends her journey for the MGI crown after she failed to make it to the top 20. The pageant was held in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021.
Vietnam’s Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien was hailed as the newly crowned Miss Grand International 2021. Four other beauty queens who are crowned are:
Andrea Aguilera, Ecuador-1st runner up
Lorena Rodrigues, Brazil-2nd runner up
Vivianie Diaz Arroyo, Puerto Rico-3rd runner up
Jeane van Dam, South Africa- 4th runner up
Shortly after Sam bowed out from the competition, Pinoy pageant fans took to Twitter to express their reaction to the pageant. They were puzzled by her missing in the top 20 while some just accepted the result and commended her for her hard work.
Before her exit, Samantha entered the top 5 best in swimsuits and top 10 best in national costume. During the prelims, she impressed the audience in her bejeweled cape gown.
The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. also shared its message to Samantha Bernardo after the pageant. The organization expressed its pride and gratitude to the beauty queen for raising the Philippine flag in the MGI pageant.
“Thank you for raising our flag, Sam! Stella Marquez Araneta and BPCI are delighted with your grand performance at Miss Grand International…”
“Thank you for giving the Philippines a good fight in Thailand. We are very proud of you, our Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021.”
