The verified Instagram account of Gretchen Barretto disappeared
Socialite Gretchen Barretto encountered a problem concerning her verified Instagram account with 1.7 million followers.
Although she is not active in showbiz now, Greta has kept on sharing updates about her life to her fans and followers through the photo-sharing social media platform. She would sometimes share glimpses of her life as a wife and a mother and the fun activities that she does at home.
Greta also loves to share her bonding moments with her friends. Just recently, she has been sharing videos about “sabong” and the preparations that she and her team are doing for the gift-giving that they will do this holiday season.
However, just recently, Dominique Cojuangco announced on her Instagram account that the account of her mother disappeared. She called out to anyone who knew someone working for Meta (Facebook), and Instagram, which is also owned by the same company.
“Does anyone work for @meta / @instagram who can help me with my mum’s Instagram account? It disappeared. Please DM me!” Dominique said.
Because of this, the former actress has created a new temporary Instagram account @gretchen_barretto. Through this account, Gretchen has started sharing photos and videos again.
In one of the most recent videos she shared, she asked her fans and followers to follow her temporary account. The socialite also shared that she has no idea why she can no longer access her old account. “This is my new IG account. As you all know, my other account has been deactivated, I don’t know why,” the former actress said.
Then, she jokingly said that maybe it was her longtime partner Tonyboy Cojuangco, sitting beside her, who deactivated her account.
As of this writing, Gretchen Barretto has not shared any update yet regarding what happened to her Instagram account.
