McDonald’s Branch In London Viral After Worms Were Found In Drink Machine
WORMS IN MCDONALD’S – A McDonald’s branch in London went viral on TikTok after worms were found in a drink machine.
Surely, worms are the thing you’d want in your fast food meals. But, much like everything else in this world, anything could be a possibility.
Recently, a TikTok went viral showing several worms dancing around in the drainage system of a McDonald’s Drink Machine. As such, customers were left disgusted after seeing a pile of worms in the machine. Here is the viral video:
Currently, the video uploaded by TikTok account @mcoldkentroad, has already been viewed over 450,000 times. At first glance, one might think that the wriggling creatures are maggots.
However, according to an article from LadBible, the things in the video were in fact, Earthworms. Apparently, a spokesperson from McDonald’s reached out and confirmed that this was an isolated incident.
Furthermore, the spokesperson said that they “take hygiene extremely seriously”. But, he explained that a couple of weeks ago, there was an issue in the drain of the drink machine.
As per the article, the McDonald’s branch in the video was from Old Kent Road in London. And, after learning about the issue, they immediately shut down the drink station. Afterward, they conducted a “deep clean” to resolve the issue.
Still, the branch had yet to disclose how the worms got up to the machine in the first place. But, it is possible for the worms to have crawled up from the drainage.
