Is it true that Yen Santos was the one who paid for “dinner date” Paolo Contis?
I Left My Heart In Sorsogon actor Paolo Contis reacted to the allegation that it was his rumored girlfriend actress Yen Santos who paid for their “dinner date”.
Rumors linking Paolo and Yen continue to circulate on social media. It started after news about the actor’s breakup with his former partner LJ Reyes surfaced online. Yen was even accused of being the third party, especially when she was spotted with Paolo in Baguio.
However, the actor said that they spent time together in the summer capital of the Philippines “as a friend”. Just recently, Paolo Contis appeared to be slowly revealing his “connection” with Yen Santos through his social media posts.
When Yen posted her “birthday dinner” photo, Paolo also posted a “dinner time” photo with a background similar to what the actress shared. The actor was asked about this in a previous report.
He just replied with laugh emojis when asked to confirm if he and Yen indeed had dinner together. When asked about the bashing he received, Paolo said that he does not give attention to the negative comments.
In a recent writeup by PEP entertainment columnist Gorgy, it was stated that a new allegation against the actor surfaced. Allegedly, it was Yen Santos who paid for their “dinner date”. A tabloid wrote that Paolo’s credit card was declined at that time and so it was the actress who paid.
“Sino ba nagsulat?” Paolo replied to the showbiz writer and obviously, he was irritated by this rumor. He also shared that it came to his knowledge that social media personality Xian Gaza has been posting attacks against him. It was said that the latter was the one who started this story.
“Una sa lahat, hindi ako nagka-card. Kasinungalingan ‘yan. Tapos, pinatulan naman ng iba,” Paolo stressed. Based on what Rula said, the actor is already talking to his lawyer regarding the malicious rumors against him.
