According to an article from LadBible, the man smuggled the USB from China. Afterward, he sold it to a student who then shared it with his friends.

Following this, the 109 Sangmu, North Korea’s surveillance service, caught the students after receiving an anonymous tip. Since then, the smuggler’s face was already decided – death via firing squad.

Meanwhile, severe punishments also await the students. Among these was a life sentence for the student who bought a copy of the show. Additionally, those who watched it with him were sentenced to five years of hard labor.

But, it doesn’t stop there. The headteachers of the school the students were from were also held responsible. As per the article, the student’s teachers and the school admin were “expelled from the party”.

Moreover, a source who talked to Radio Free Asia said they “will be sent to toil in coal mines or exiled to rural parts of the country”.
