High-Value Target Cotabato Cop Arrested Over Illegal Drugs in a Buy-Bust Operation
Police authorities arrested a high-value target cop in Cotabato during a buy-bust operation after being caught with illegal drugs.
According to the Cotabato City police, the active arrested policeman was placed on a list of high-value targets (HVT) drug personalities in the city, which was compiled by his colleagues. Police Corporal Jomar Moyet Chio of the Sultan Kudarat Municipal Police Station was identified as the officer (MPS).

On the suspicion, a police poseur buyer transacted and attempted to buy illegal substances known as “shabu” from the suspect. According to the police report, they signaled the arrest of the mentioned policeman when they exchanged money and illegal drugs.
Several sachets of suspected shabu, as well as the marked money used in the operation, were taken into custody by the corporal. The suspect is currently in the custody of the Cotabato City PNP, and criminal and administrative charges are being prepared against him, which would almost certainly result in his dismissal from the agency.
Meanwhile, a retired member of the United States Air Force was apprehended during a search on a suspected drug laboratory in Quezon City. The search warrant was executed by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Shabu, ecstasy, cocaine, liquid marijuana, and kush were among the illegal narcotics discovered. The suspect was also discovered with a number of rifles and ammunition.
