Kim Atienza Reacts To Ogie Diaz's 'Tulungan mo tatay mo' Advice

Comedian-talent Ogie Diaz advised Kapuso host Kim Atienza to just help his father Rep. Lito Atienza’s vice presidential candidacy instead of writing comments on social media.

In a recent Showbiz Update vlog of Ogie with Mama Loi and Dyosa Pockoh, they talked about the comment of Kuya Kim on the post of his Mars Pa More co-host Camille Prats. That comment was speculated to be intended to It’s Showtime, in which Kuya Kim was one of the hosts.

However, the former TV Patrol segment host denied that it was an attack against his former show. He explained that he knows how difficult it was to be in a live show on a daily basis.

Then, there was a netizen who commented this: “Sino si @kuyakim_atienza kung wala ang ABS na nagpsikat at nagpayaman sa kanya?” The TV host commented on this saying that indeed the Kapamilya network helped him become popular but when it comes to wealth, he said that even before becoming a Kapamilya, his wife is already wealthy.

Ogie shared a comment from a netizen about this saying that instead of posting like that, he should just focus on helping the candidacy of his father.

The Comedian-talent agreed with what the netizen said. “Pero kung tutuusin, may point. Dapat talaga tinutulungan na lang ni Kuya Kim. I-post niya yung daddy niya,” Ogie Diaz said.

Kim Atienza tweeted the article by Bandera about this with his answer to the statement of the Comedian-talent. He greeted Ogie with “kumusta” and congratulations for the success of his YouTube channel.

Then, the Kapuso host explained why he is not posting about his father or any politicians. “Ogs, Kahit gusto kong tulungan ang Dad ko at kahit sinong kandidatong gusto ko, binabawal ng @gmanews ang any political activity such as campaigning lalo na sa kamag anak,” he said.

After that explanation, Kuya Kim said this to Ogie “Be well dear.”
