They discovered a wallet in their garage and claimed that it belonged to no one in their family. According to her, the wallet was bitten, implying that their dog was responsible.

“Iniisip nga namin, sabi ko ‘Bakit mayroon doong wallet?’ Eh kako wala namang pumapasok ditong ibang tao. Nakita namin medyo may kagat ‘yung wallet.”

When they opened the wallet that the dog had discovered, they discovered an ATM card, an ID card, and P1,700 in cash. As a result, Ginalyn looked for the wallet’s owner on the internet, but his account appeared to be disabled, so they simply carried the wallet to the radio station.

“Kasi kawawa naman, may ID doon at saka may pera. Baka kako kailangang mamalengke nu’ng [may-ari] tapos nahulog ‘yung wallet. Kawawa naman ‘yung may-ari,” said Ginalyn.

On the same day, the wallet was returned to its owner. Following her boss’s social media post, netizens complimented the dog. Ginalyn was also happy for the kind feedback they received from the internet after her article went viral.

“Salamat po sa positive comments niyo, feedback sa aso namin kahit wala siyang breed ‘di ba. Sana po maging inspirasyon siya hindi lang sa mga kapwa natin tao na kapag may napulot tayo, isauli natin,”said Ginalyn.
