Paolo Contis revealed this about Heart Evangelista
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis was surprised by what his I Left My Heart In Sorsogon leading lady Heart Evangelista did during their lock-in taping.
Paolo and Heart have this new teleserye project with the new Kapuso actor Richard Yap. This sets as the teleserye comeback of the actress. When Paolo and Heart were still in ABS-CBN, they had the chance to work together in the movie Trip in 2001. In the said movie, Paolo played the older brother of Heart’s character.
In the new series, Paolo is Heart’s other love interest. Based on the article in Bandera, during a recent press conference, the actor revealed that he saw major changes in Heart from what he saw a decade ago.
“Iba. Ang layo, ang layu-layo. You really appreciate her professionalism. Ang laki ng (maturity) niya as an actress and as a person,” the actor said adding that he was surprised by what he saw in his leading lady.
“I didn’t expect her to be the leader that she is sa set pero ang galing-galing. May mga maliliit siyang bagay na ginagawa para sa lahat na we all appreciate and it’s a very pleasing surprise para sa akin, hindi ko in-expect na ganu’n siya ka-professional,” Paolo Contis shared.
He also said that it was a surprise for him as well that they have good chemistry on the set. Everyone knew what to do. Aside from being professional that everyone was showing, Paolo said that he is happy that they became friends.
“And para sa akin, we have to thank Heart for that, to be honest. Kasi siya ‘yung nagba-bind sa amin lahat, e. She make sure na okay kaming lahat. She make sure na nakakapag-usap lahat kaya sobra naging madali,” Paolo Contis said.
For Richard Yap, this project is a dream come true as he has been wishing to work with Heart Evangelista when he transferred to GMA.
