Passengers In Confused State After Luggage Turns To Frozen Fish Crates
BRITISH AIRWAYS – Several Passengers waiting for their luggage were surprised after their luggage turns into crates of frozen fish.
At the Heathrow Airport on Monday, Passengers were left baffled after their luggage didn’t show up on the conveyor belt. Instead of their luggage, crates of frozen fish appeared.
According to one of the passengers in the airport, the conveyer machine bega to go “round and round”, then the first box of iced fish appeared. Afterward, boxes of frozen fish were the only thing left coming out.
Based on the article, the flight that people were on was from Cyprus. Initially, things were going well as they arrived back in Heathrow 20 mins ahead of time.
Due to this incident, one passenger came to an airport employee and reported the situation. According to an article from ITV, the employee said: “That’s not luggage, that’s cargo!”.
Apparently, there was a huge mess up that occurred which switched the luggage with the cargo. As such, British Airways released an apology to the passengers:
We’ve apologized to our customers and we have been reuniting them with their luggage after realizing that something fishy was going on
Meanwhile, some passengers expressed concerns regarding their luggage:
They haven’t said what adventures our suitcases have been on. They could have easily gone to New York, couldn’t they…
They could have easily gone around the world!
